Manifold systems provide the reliable performance you need to stay on top of your gas needs. Pros and Cons of a Gas to Liquid manifold.

Pros-

  • High-pressure cylinders can last longer in certain situations
  • Increase safety by eliminating gas cylinder with a pressure regulator
  • Gas containers outside the surgical area – safety.

Cons-

  • Liquid oxygen is an economical and convenient form of oxygen storage.
  • Fewer chances for leaking product
  • Can lessen space in gas room but with more supply

How to determine which is the best manifold for your situation. Stay with gas or go to liquid.

If your office is exchanging less than 16 high-pressure tanks a week on average. You are safe with using your current high-pressure gas system.

If your office is exchanging more than 16 high-pressure tanks a week on average. You are a prime candidate to move your gas manifold to a liquid manifold system.
